About The Position

This position is applicable for a MRI Tech 1 with less than two years of related work experience and MRI Tech 2 with two years or more of related work experience. About Pennock Hospital We offer a wide range of imaging that includes Computerized Tomography (CT), Nuclear Medicine, Diagnostic Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), PET/CT, Mammography, and Ultrasound. We are a fundamental part of the care team -- we use the latest imaging technology to help with the diagnosis and treatment of our patients. Scope of Work Provides health care services, applying pulsed radio-frequency waves and magnetic energy to assist diagnosis or treatment. Performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Role model for comprehensive care, addressing the physiological and socio-cultural needs of patients and their families and acts as a resource to other MRI staff in managing complex issues. Assures equipment is present and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift. Assists in and facilitates employee development.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent years of experience in related field
  • 2 years of relevant experience MRI experience Required
  • CRT-Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required Or
  • CRT-American Registry Of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (MRI) - ARMRIT American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists Upon Hire required
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
