About The Position

InGenesis is currently seeking an MRI Technologist to work with our client. In this role, you will perform routine MRI procedures and assist physicians with diagnostic and special imaging. This role is part of the direct patient care team and focuses on delivering exceptional patient care while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Completion of an MRI training program (including UTMB MR Training Program).
• Experience: 1+ year in MRI.
• American Heart Association BLS required.
• MRI certification or registry-eligible at hire (must obtain certification within 6 months through ARRT or ARMRIT).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to multiple priorities.
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with hospital systems.
• Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to push/pull 50 lbs, walk long distances, and stand or sit for extended periods.
• Exposure to occupational hazards (radiation, bloodborne pathogens, etc.).
• Participation in on-call, weekend, holiday, and emergency rotations.
• May require travel to other campuses.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine MRI/MRA procedures and optimize protocols for image quality and patient experience.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic or special procedures using proper sterile techniques.
• Ensure compliance with MRI safety policies and hospital standards.
• Provide accurate documentation and enter charges promptly.
• Participate in quality control checks and department improvement projects.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Respond proactively to patient needs and maintain a positive work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
