About The Position

We are currently hiring an MRI/X-Ray Technologist to support our Imaging Department. This position is full-time, 4 days per week. A $10,000 sign-on bonus will be offered. Description The MRI Technologist is part of a collaborative imaging team responsible for operating two MRI units and one X-ray machine, Monday through Friday. Requirements

1 years’ experience
ARRT and LSRT certifications required
Associates in Radiology Technology

Responsibilities

Verify physician orders and imaging procedures for accuracy
Clearly explain procedures to patients to ensure comfort and understanding
Independently operate MRI and X-ray equipment in accordance with established protocols (including IV placement)
Review images to confirm diagnostic quality prior to submission
Perform routine quality control procedures in compliance with regulatory standards and address any issues as needed
Support departmental operations, including inventory management, scheduling, and equipment upkeep
Adapt communication and care approach to meet the needs of diverse patient populations, ensuring respect, privacy, and clarity
Perform additional duties as assigned
