About The Position

The MRI technologist works under the direction of a Radiologist to perform MRI procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision for the technical detail. The Technologist assumes responsibility for the safety of their patients and colleagues in their designated work area and takes corrective action when necessary to maintain such safety. Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Satisfactory completion of at least one of the following AMA approved programs: Radiologic Technology program, Nuclear Medicine program, Diagnostic Ultrasound program
  • Two years’ experience in any field of Diagnostic Imaging.
  • ARRT Certification in Radiology, NMTCB certification or ARDMS certification with eligibility for MRI certification required
  • Must apply for MRI Certification within one year of employment and must obtain certification within two years of employment
  • CPR Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in cross-section anatomy preferred.
