About The Position

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by a physician. MRI Technologists are responsible for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment. TriStar Skyline Medical Center is a 250+ bed facility. We are Tennessees first comprehensive stroke center and a national leader in neuroscience. In addition, we are equipped with 3 helipads, new ICU and Medical/Surgical floors, and burn care services. We offer a CARF accredited Inpatient Rehabilitation program and are an ACS verified Level II Trauma Center. Requirements

Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Technologist program.
Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
MRI registered or within 6 months of hire.
American Heart BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Facilitate the operations of the MRI department.
Assist the MRI Supervisor with the day-to-day operation of the department, balancing budgetary constraints, equipment and personnel needs, quality improvement, and exceptional care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the lifespan and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patients requirements relative to their age-specific needs.
