MRI Technologist – Outpatient | Herndon, VA | PRN Fairfax Radiology Centers — the largest radiology practice in Northern Virginia — is hiring! You guide each patient through their exam with compassion and professionalism, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.

Requirements

6+ months of MRI experience or successful completion of a formal MRI training program
ARRT (R) or MRI certification , or ARMRIT certification required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Strong communication, technical, and customer service skills

Responsibilities

Perform general and specialty MRI exams using GE 1.5T and 3T technology
Deliver high-quality imaging with accuracy and empathy
Maintain imaging protocols and accurate documentation within PACS/RIS systems
Provide every patient with a professional, supportive, and reassuring experience
