About The Position

As an MRI Technologist for Olympia Orthopaedic Associates, you will utilize specialized equipment to generate cross-sectional image scans of patients. These images are crucial for assisting Physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of various illnesses or diseases. The role involves direct interaction with patients and may require the administration of intravenous injections of contrast dyes.

Requirements

  • Active and Unrestricted WA State Radiologic Technologist (RT) License with MR designation
  • Completion of an MRI training program recognized by ARRT or ARMRIT
  • Active and Unrestricted MR license through ARRT or ARMRIT
  • Active BLS Certification or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

  • Use specialized equipment to create cross-sectional image scans of patients
  • Assist Physicians in diagnosing and treating illnesses or diseases
  • Interact directly with patients
  • Administer intravenous injections of contrast dyes
