How you’ll contribute The MRI Technologist performs high‑quality magnetic resonance imaging exams within an acute‑care hospital setting, ensuring accuracy, safety, and adherence to established standards of practice. This role is responsible for reviewing patient histories, educating patients on procedures, screening for MRI contraindications, and preparing and administering contrast media when appropriate. The technologist monitors patient status closely—often responding to rapidly changing conditions common in an acute environment—while selecting proper imaging parameters, positioning patients, assessing image quality, and taking corrective action as needed. Additional responsibilities include maintaining equipment and supplies, accurately documenting patient information in the clinical information system, and supporting department workflow and patient throughput. The MRI Technologist works with minimal supervision, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, and consistently demonstrates critical thinking and sound judgment to ensure safe, timely, and effective imaging care. What we’re looking for Applicants should have Associate's Degree required ARRT with additional certification in Mammography. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree required
  • ARRT with additional certification in Mammography.
  • If not certified in Mammography, must be certified within one year of date of hire or transfer to position.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
