About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join a dynamic acute care hospital team in Elmhurst, NY. This role is ideal for a skilled technologist who excels in a fast-paced hospital environment and is confident operating GE MRI equipment during overnight shifts.

Requirements

• Minimum one (1) year of MRI experience in an acute care/hospital setting.
• Associate’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Active New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) Radiologic Technologist License.
• Current MRI certification through ARRT or ARMRIT.
• Proficiency with GE MRI equipment and EPIC EMR systems.

Nice To Haves

• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations in an acute care setting.
• Ensure diagnostic accuracy while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
• Operate and maintain GE MRI scanners with advanced technical proficiency.
• Conduct thorough MRI safety screenings and enforce MRI Zone safety protocols.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, regulatory standards, and quality guidelines.
• Accurately document procedures and patient information using EPIC EMR.
• Manage overnight imaging workflow.
• Collaborate with Emergency Department and inpatient units to prioritize urgent cases.
