Join the team that's defining the future of magnetic resonance imaging. Apply today! Job Summary: Performs MRI studies under the direction of a radiologist and oversight of a senior MRI Technologist. This individual interacts with imaging staff, nursing, physicians, patients and visitors. Acts as a resource person for MRI technical, and other issues, and demonstrates competence according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols. Operates MRI and related equipment, prepares scan room - equipment, supplies and medications. This individual also maintains images and archives associated with patient data. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an JRCERT approved two-year or four-year radiologic technology, nuclear medicine program, or MRI program is required.
  • Successful completion of a cross-sectional anatomy class is required.
  • Ability and demonstrated competence in IV insertion and contrast injection; ability to assimilate new procedures into work routine is required.
  • ARRT registered is required.
  • Advanced certification through ARRT in ARRT-MR is required within 18 months of hire.
  • BCLS certified within 90 days of hire date.
  • State of WI license in Radiologic Technology if incumbent performs CT, general radiography or any other imaging using ionizing radiation; if practice is limited to MRI and/or Ultrasound, no state license is required.

Nice To Haves

  • One to three years of experience is preferred.
  • Two or four year college degree in radiologic technology, healthcare, business or other related degree is preferred.
