About The Position

Overview Performs routine scanning procedures for the MRI unit. Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures. Ensures a high quality of images produced. Responsible for availability and sterility of supplies used for assigned area. May be cross-trained in other specialties. The technologist may be part of the on call pool. The MRI Technologist may be required to cover inpatient or outpatient areas to include offsite diagnostic locations Qualifications Education: A high school diploma or GED; Graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Science. Must obtain advanced registry within one year from date of hire.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Science.
  • Must be ARRT registered.
  • BCLS required
  • 2 year’s experience in MRI required
  • Must obtain advanced registry within one year from date of hire.
