Requirements
- American Registry of Radiologists (ARRT) MR certification required within 2 years from date of hire.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Non Degree Program from a approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program. Required
- 1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist Required
- Reg Technologist (R) Required
- Reg Technologist (MR) Required
- Basic Life Support Required
Nice To Haves
- 1 year experience in CT or MRI Preferred
Responsibilities
- Performs MRI studies following set protocol established by the Radiologists.
- Operates the MRI scanner to produce images of consistent optimal quality.
- Prepares scan room and equipment as appropriate.
- Positions patient, coils and equipment as required.
- Maintains communication with the patient throughout the scanning procedure.
