About The Position

Job Summary and Responsibilities $10,000 sign-on bonus and $10,000 educational assistance available to external candidates As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations to assist in diagnosing medical conditions. Every day you will prepare patients for scans, operate advanced MRI equipment, ensure patient safety in the magnetic environment, and accurately capture detailed anatomical images. To be successful, you will demonstrate expert technical proficiency in MRI, meticulous attention to detail for image quality and safety, and excellent patient communication to ensure a comfortable and effective diagnostic experience. Utilizes innovative customer service techniques to provide a positive patient care experience for the patient and their family. Acts professionally in all dealings with internal and external customers to promote a working environment that focuses on the patient experience. Perform complex specialized tasks associated with the operations of high field strength magnets and related equipment to produce special images of specific body parts. Position patients for MRI scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary. Screen patients for MR safety prior to procedure performance. Starts IV’s and the injecting of contrast, if applicable per protocol. Maintains records for compliance for JACHO and ACR accreditation.

Requirements

  • Associates Other (2 year program) or equivalent, upon hire
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Radiology, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire
  • Registered Technologist Magnetic Resonance Imaging, within 24 - months

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years MRI experience
