About The Position

Advance your career with Essentia Health’s dedicated care team in Fargo, ND! This position is responsible for the acquisition of MRI scans of patients of all ages for diagnostic and/or research purposes, utilizing advanced aspects of computer assisted, digital image recording and analysis systems. Provides optimal patient care utilizing establishes and accepted techniques. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to interact with patients in a way that is effective and appropriate to the age of the involved patient population. In addition, responsible for the administration of CT ionizing radiation to humans (age infant through adult) for diagnostic, therapeutic procedures, which utilize advanced aspects of computer assisted, digital image recording, and analysis systems. The technologist provides optimal patient care utilizing establishes and accepted techniques. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to interact with patients in a way that is effective and appropriate to the age of the involved patient population.

Requirements

  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Must be registered in MRI by the ARRT within two years of hire/transfer to the position
  • If working in North Dakota, must have current Radiographer license along with conditional or active Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist registry on North Dakota Imaging & Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners (NDMIRT) upon hire

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a CT and/or MRI Technologist preferred.
