AMI is seeking a Part time, 20 hour per week MRI Technologist to join the team in the Vineland Women's Center and S. Delsea Vineland offices. This is a great opportunity to join a growing outpatient Radiology practice! Part time, 20+ hour per week positions at AMI are eligible for Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Holidays, 401k & Profit Sharing. Health benefits are not currently extended with part time positions. Offered rates increase based on years of work experience. The Part time, 20 hour per week position will provide coverage at the AMI @ Inspira office locations in the Vineland Women's Center and South Delsea Vineland. The work schedule includes: Monday and Friday 10:30am- 3:30pm Wednesday and Thursday 12:30pm- 5:30pm Schedules are subject to change based on business needs.

Operating all aspects of MR scanning unit, incorporating extensive knowledge of system’s computer and all program modalities to perform scanning procedures and transfer images to film or software for interpretation
Evaluating screening to ensure patient safety in the magnetic field
Consulting with the Radiologist and implementing proper scanning protocols as directed
Completing daily work schedule, documenting in Zotec and on any required forms
Monitoring patient flow and accommodating unscheduled patients and add-on studies
As per office policy, performing all quality control testing, equipment calibrations, warm-up and shut down procedures with proper documentation
Advising the Chief Technologist/Office Administrator of the need for all maintenance, service and repair work
Participating in office meetings, in-service programs, continuing education programs and other designated activity
Responding to office codes, policies and procedures to ensure optimum patient, employee, visitor and physical plant safety and security
Demonstrating competency in dealing with patients in all age categories: neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric
Performing all other duties as required and assigned

Candidates for this position must be a graduate of an accredited MRI program
Registered or registry-eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
MR Board Certified
Current and valid American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross CPR/BLS certification is required prior to start of employment
Previous experience or certification in venipuncture preferred for the injection of contrast media via butterfly needle and IV catheter. If not currently trained/certified, must be willing to obtain. In-house training will be provided.

Experience with Fonar is a plus and candidates must be willing to receive Fonar training.
