Visit our website to learn more about our remarkable company: https://www.dmshealth.com/ We are looking for a MRI Technologist to work 16-32 hours per week, 1 week a month! The MRI Technologist would work on our mobile imaging team traveling to correctional facilities located in Beacon, Coxsackie, Malone, Alden, Rome, Romulus, and Elmira, New York. We offer an excellent compensation package plus an annual profit-share bonus of 4%, paid the hourly rate door-to-door, mileage reimbursement for all but 60 miles/trip, cell phone stipend, clothing allowance and much more! Our standard work week is five days a week Monday-Friday, even if you aren't scheduled to work all five days. The position does not have a permanent fixed schedule because our route assignments are subject to change at any time. You will be required to work an alternative schedule within the region as needed to provide backup coverage for leaves of absences, vacations, unplanned absences, etc., on unscheduled days. Essential Duties Operating magnetic resonance imaging machines and creating diagnostic images of patients according to their physicians’ instructions. Documenting patients' health histories, preparing them for scans, and keeping them relaxed and comfortable during the procedure. Following the orders of the referring physician and protocols and administering prescribed medications Uses knowledge of imaging techniques and cross-sectional anatomy to create high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists and other medical professionals. Transferring images and verifying the images and patient information arrived correctly. Complies with safety and quality procedures and initiatives by strictly following safety policies, rules and safe work methods, making suggestions to support continuous improvements in safety, promptly correcting or reporting safety hazards or unsafe conditions, promptly reporting injuries for timely diagnoses and medical treatment, and by participating in safety processes such as safety committee, safety inspections, etc. This position may be required to travel up to 100% of the time. Performs other duties as assigned. Education and/or Experience Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. PC proficiency to access job related internet websites, review on-line documentation and experience using Microsoft Office Suite products. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, analytical, critical thinking, organizational and time management skills. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work well independently. The ability to follow instructions in stressful environments. Superb bedside manner and the ability to work with a variety of personalities. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, Testing ARRT CPR certified Mandatory education provided by DMS State licensure if required To ensure a safe environment for patients and staff, the following vaccinations, titers, or declinations and health requirements are required: MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella); Varicella (Chickenpox); Hepatitis B Series; Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis); annual Influenza vaccine; COVID-19 vaccination, if required by facility policy; Tuberculosis screening (annual or per facility guidelines) Physical Demands Stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel and crawl Climb up and down stairs Push and pull wheelchairs Carry and lift with the ability to move non-ambulatory patients from a sitting or lying position for transfer or exam Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally Background Check Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening, in accordance with applicable laws. Requirements

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • CPR certified
