About The Position

The MRI Technologist performs diagnostic MRI examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician. Direct patient responsibility for geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric, and neonatal patient care until the patient is returned to his/her room or until outpatient is discharged. Responsible to screen for magnetic hazards and to clear any patient, staff or family member to enter the MRI suite.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited MRI program.
• Thorough knowledge of MRI in all forms of diagnostic technology, terminology, practice, procedure, physiology and human anatomy.
• MRI Registry, ARRT (MR) within 6 months of hire
• American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification required

Nice To Haves

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
