MRI Technologist - PRN (no weekends)
About The Position
We're hiring for a per-diem MRI technologist to join our Seattle Radiology team. With its diverse neighborhoods, strong commitment to sustainability, and innovative spirit. Hours: Per Diem - Week Days/ Day Shift. This position is in an outp atient setting, no weekends or evenings.
Requirements
- Advanced registry certification in MRI required
- Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program
- Washington State MRI Technologist license required
- Current certification in healthcare CPR
- Demonstrates a professional demeanor in appearance and behavior in all work-related interactions
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a successful MRI tech preferred
Responsibilities
- Utilizes an MRI scanner and power injector. Starts IVs and administers various contrast agents
- Appropriately protocol all orders in advance
- Properly screen orders prior to scan for any precautions or contraindications including, but not limited to implanted devices
- Provides patient care services in a professional and compassionate manner
- Organizes and monitors patient flow to meet company productivity, quality, health, and safety standards
- Ability to de-escalate conflict situations with minimal supervisory assistance but able to recognize when a situation is beyond individual training/expertise and requires assistance
