About The Position

Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital is a 280-bed acute care campus located in the heart of Grosse Pointe. Opened in 1945 by the Sisters of Bon Secours, it was acquired by Beaumont Health System in October 2007. Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital offers medical, surgical, emergency, obstetric and critical care services. In March 2012, the Cotton Family Birth Center at Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital was designated a Baby-Friendly birth center by Baby-Friendly USA. Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital is also home to The James and Patricia Anderson Surgical Center, a leading-edge, hybrid surgical suite offering advanced learning, technological advancements and a wide array of procedures ranging from traditional to minimally invasive approaches. Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures performs diagnostic MR exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment and techniques. Requirements

  • Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
  • 1-3 years clinical experience beyond staff radiographer level.
  • Certification by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, RT (R) (MR). Additional MR certification required within 1 year of hire. Must remain in good standing with the ARRT. Technologists working in their modality before 2008 are exempt from additional modality certification.
  • Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers at hire through the American Heart Association.
  • CRT-Radiation Therapist - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire Required Or
  • CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire Required Or
  • CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire Required Or
  • CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Upon Hire Required
  • Or CRT-Nuc Med Technologist (N) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire Required Or
  • CRT-Nuclear Medicine Technologist - NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Upon Hire Required Or
  • CRT-Vascular Technologist (VT) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Upon Hire Required Or
  • CRT-Musculoskeletal (MSK) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Upon Hire Required And CRT-Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Board Registry 1 Year Required Or
  • CRT-American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (MRI) - ARMRIT American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists Board Registry 1 Year Required
