About The Position

A leading healthcare system in Brunswick, Georgia is seeking MRI Technologists to join a growing imaging department with strong leadership, modern equipment, and a collaborative team culture. The department currently includes 4 full-time MRI technologists and 2 travelers, and the goal is to build a long-term team of full-time technologists.

The MRI Technologist performs high-quality MRI imaging procedures while delivering safe, compassionate patient care. This role collaborates closely with radiologists and providers to ensure accurate imaging and excellent patient outcomes. Technologists are responsible for completing provider-ordered MRI procedures according to established protocols while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
• ARRT (R) required
• MRI registry required within 12 months of hire
• BLS certification required
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
• Obtain patient history and complete safety screenings and documentation
• Operate MRI scanners and associated imaging equipment safely and effectively
• Maintain high-quality imaging standards to support accurate diagnoses
• Communicate with radiologists and providers regarding imaging protocols when needed
• Maintain compliance with MRI safety standards and regulatory guidelines
• Coordinate with care teams to ensure efficient patient workflow
