Education Two (2) Years of College Experience / Qualifications American Registry Radiologic Technologists in MRI- ARRT, (R), (MR) and /or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists – ARMRIT. Current Florida State license required if hold ARRT(MRI) certification only. American Heart Association BLS, for Heath Care Provider 2 years’ experience performing MRI/MRA. Advanced training in breast MRI and vascular MPR/IVI post processing. Proficient computer skills. Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. Position Summary The MRI Technologist performs all MRI/MRA procedures, abdominal, pelvic, head/skull, thorax, breast, and extremities. Excellent knowledge of the human anatomy & pathology and uses this knowledge to provide quality MRI images for interpretation. Demonstrated knowledge of advanced computer applications including PACS and Image manipulation for image enhancement. Demonstrated understanding of the principals involved in MRI and the ability to adjust them to each patient. Participates and supports continuous quality improvement. Physical Requirements Must be able to sit, stand, walk for long periods of time, be flexible enough to twist, bend, lift, assist, transport patients via wheelchair & stretcher. Be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs., perform CPR and patient assessment. Threshold Requirements are required and completed yearly basis, Annual Joint Commission mandatory education requirements, in-service and health requirements including attendance at new employee orientation, TB/PPD, Surveillance Program. Requirements

Two (2) Years of College
American Registry Radiologic Technologists in MRI- ARRT, (R), (MR) and /or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists – ARMRIT.
