About The Position
BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time MRI Technologist (Weekend Option) for Christian Hospital (11133 Dunn Rd., St. Louis, MO) $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible candidates!!! $$$Weekend Premium Pay: 50% extra on hourly rate for weekend hours!!! Position Details: Day Shift Hours: Saturday, Sunday, & Monday (7am-7:30pm) Weekend Day Schedule: Work just 3 days a week - MAXMIZE YOUR PAY + have 4 days off in a row = Great Work Life Balance!!! MRI at NWHC has a Siemens 1.5T Magnetom Symphony scanner. The procedure room has a large window making the room bright & has a very open feeling. MRI offers same day service. Role Purpose Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
Requirements
- Associate degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education)
- Certification / Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R) or MR
- One year commitment
- IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI
- RTR,CT,MR,M,BD,CI,VI,RCIS,RCES
Nice To Haves
- 2 years MRI experience (Preferred)
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- Intravenous Therapy

Responsibilities
- Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
- Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
