About The Position
POSITION SUMMARY: This position operates various types of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and auxiliary equipment to provide diagnostic images for interpretation by a Radiologist. This position also performs clerical and transport duties in the absence of those personnel on an as needed basis.
Requirements
- Current Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) certification required via American Registry of Radiological Technologists ARRT or equivalent.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Minimum of one-year experience in MRI procedures required.
- Ability to physically lift, maneuver and/or manipulate patients and equipment.
- Manual dexterity to operate equipment controls and switches.
Nice To Haves
- Current California Venipuncture certification strongly preferred.
