About The Position

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, this MRI Technologist performs diagnostic MR exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment and techniques, while following Corewell Health's philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care. Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital, established in 1955, is a 1,101-bed major academic and referral center with Level I adult trauma and Level II pediatric trauma designations. It hosts 43 residency and fellowship programs with 454 residents and fellows and is the exclusive clinical partner of the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent
  • Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program
  • 1-3 years clinical experience beyond staff radiographer level
  • Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers at hire through the American Heart Association
  • One of the following certifications upon hire: American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (MRI) - ARMRIT Certification, Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification, Radiation Therapist - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, Sonographer (S) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, Sonographer (S) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Nuc Med Technologist (N) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, Nuclear Medicine Technologist - NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board, Vascular Technologist (VT) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or Musculoskeletal (MSK) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • One of the following board registries required within 1 year: Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Board Registry or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (MRI) - ARMRIT American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists Board Registry
