MRI Technologist for Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland. OR. The MRI Tech performs Magnetic Resonance examinations according to physician orders, utilizing sophisticated MRI equipment, taking into account an individual patient special or age-related needs. Utilizes knowledge and judgment in regard to imaging factors, imaging technique and patient treatment needed to produce optimal images. Requirements

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License Or New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.
• Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist Temporary License New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Or Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists

Responsibilities
