About The Position

This position is PRN. Team member will cover shifts on an as-needed basis. Novant Health is seeking an MRI Technologist. The MR Technologist I will assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating the MR equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, required
  • Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program, required
  • Minimum of one year of experience in MR, preferred
  • NH Medical Center-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) within 6 months of hire, required
  • NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility - Certified and Registered within 6 Months of hire in ARRT RT(R)(MR), required
  • Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR), required
  • IV Credentialed, required
  • Applicable state license, required
  • Thorough knowledge of MRI imaging equipment
  • Analytical ability and basic computer skills
  • Ability to interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to his/her age-specific needs
  • Good communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • 2 Year/Associate Degree, preferred
  • Minimum of one year of experience in MR, preferred
