About The Position

The MRI Technologist performs high quality MRI procedures according to exam protocol and in a timely manner. The technologist maintains production and quality of imaging procedures by following established standards and procedures. Responsibilities include operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients, and reporting test completion to the Radiologist.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Graduate of an ARRT Approved Program in Radiologic Technology.
• Medical Radiologic Technology (MRT) License from the State of Texas.
• ARRT Certification in Radiography R.T. (R).
• ARRT Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within 90 days of start date.
• Current, Valid Texas Driver's License.

Nice To Haves

• Clinical Radiology experience of 1 year or more.
