About the position

Oak Valley Hospital District is currently seeking a dynamic MRI Technologist for our Radiology Department who will embrace our mission, vision, and values. This position requires providing care and/or service to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.

Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of MRI tests for patients of all ages.
  • Operates magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patient's body for diagnostic purposes.
  • Under the direction of the Radiologists and the Radiology Manager, performs related technological functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care utilizing efficient and safe processes.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of school of an accredited radiologic technology or MRI Technology Program.
  • Cross Section anatomy required.
  • Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • 1 year of MRI Tech work experience is preferred.
  • Registered Radiology Technologist or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) issued by ARRT.
  • Current BLS certification.
