About The Position

Mosaic Life Care is a health care system in northwest Missouri. With a vision of transforming community health by being a life-care innovator, Mosaic places the holistic needs of patients first by providing the right care at the right time and place, offering high value and quality health care. This position performs scans using radiofrequencies within a magnetic field to produce images of bones, organs, and soft tissue. They also prepare and administer contrast agents to obtain some images. This position can work in various clinical environments, such as the hospital or diagnostic imaging centers. This position works under the supervision of Director, ATL, Lead Technologist, and providers in Radiology and is employed by Mosaic Health System.

Requirements

• Completion of Radiologic Technology program required.
• AART(R) - American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists required.
• MRI - Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist required within 1 year.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• 3 years experience required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret a provider's instructions.
• Screen patients for safety prior to entering zone 4.
• Explain MRI procedures to patients.
• Prepare patients for procedures.
• Select software options and imaging parameters when adjusting an MRI machine.
• Other duties as assigned.
