About The Position

Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem MRI Tech for the Radiology Unit at Newton Medical Center. The shifts vary as needed.

Requirements

• Knowledge of MR imaging equipment and protocols.
• Ability to interpret and perform MRI imaging protocols accurately.
• Competence in IV skills and administering contrast media.
• Understanding of MR Safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of healing while accurately interpreting and performing all MRI imaging protocols.
• Practice in accordance with state, federal and professional standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of MR imaging equipment, including set-up, utilization, basic troubleshooting, and proper care for all equipment.
• Abide by strict MR Safety standards and evaluate MR scans for technical quality.
• Use EPIC and PACS to manage patient workflow and transmit images for interpretation.
• Be competent with IV skills and preparing/administering contrast media.
