About The Position

The position involves performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and maintaining knowledge of all equipment currently in use. The individual will assist patients and physicians as needed and will keep informed of new scanning techniques and technology. Additionally, the role includes training technical staff on protocols and post-processing techniques.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, and Vocational Training.
• Graduate from Radiologic Technology School.
• A.R.R.T. certification with Florida Radiographer License or ARMRIT certification.
• MRI Certification within 12 months from the date of hire.
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• 1-2 years of experience in computerized imaging, or graduate of a post-secondary MRI certification program.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Less than 1 year of experience in Cardiac Imaging.
