The MRI Technologist will independently perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media. This role requires working under the scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture. The technologist will coordinate patient flow and the activities of the MRI scanner, ensuring MRI safe practices are followed. Professional judgment is essential in maintaining equipment in good working condition. The position may also involve performing procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs and may include on-call responsibilities.
