About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: The MRI Technologist II 11/12 cares for patients while operating equipment to produce high quality images for radiologist interpretation. In addition, the MRI Technologist II is responsible for EMR/PACS navigation, general patient care, positioning patients, providing procedure information, and executing proper imaging protocol/technique for all examinations. Complies with all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care. Will be scheduled and required to work 11 out of every 12 weekends.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/ GED
• Graduate from Accredited school of Radiologic Technology or MRI accredited program.
• 1 year MRI experience
• Advanced MRI Certification American Registry of Radiologic Technologists(ARRT) MR or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
• Basic Life Support(BLS) certification American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years' experience in an imaging modality (CT/Diagnostic)

Benefits

• Employees who participate in the 11/12 program receive a 40% premium on their base pay rate for all hours worked between 7:00 pm Friday and 7:30 am Monday. Other hours worked outside of this weekend time-frame are paid at the regular base rate. PTO and other paid benefit time is also paid at the regular base rate.
• $10,000 Sign On Bonus
• Candidates with 5+ years of direct experience will receive 24 hours of Vacation and Holiday time that will be available for use beginning day 1. This is in addition to our generous time-off benefits.
