About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: The MRI Technologist II cares for patients while operating equipment to produce high quality images for radiologist interpretation. In addition, the MRI Technologist II is responsible for EMR/PACS navigation, general patient care, positioning patients, providing procedure information and executing proper imaging protocol/technique for all examinations. Complies with all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/ GED
• Graduate from Accredited school of Radiologic Technology or MRI accredited program.
• 1 year MRI experience
• Radiology Registration.
• Advanced MRI Certification – ARRT (MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) Certification.
• BLS American Heart Association.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years' experience in an imaging modality (CT/Diagnostic)
