About The Position

Responsible for obtaining diagnostic quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations according to pre-established guidelines. Schedules and observes time-management techniques according to departmental productivity and efficiency standards while observing a quality patient care experience.

Requirements

• Graduate of a radiographer program.
• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology is required (or within 6 months of MS MRT temporary license for new grads).
• BLS Certification is required (or within 30 days of hire into the position).

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• One (1) year of clinical MRI and/or Radiology Technology experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
• Prior critical care or intensive care experience is preferred.
• Licensure in Medical Radiation with the state of Mississippi is strongly preferred.
• Registration with the ARRT in MRI is strongly preferred.
