About The Position
HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital is seeking a MRI Technologist to join our Imaging team. Under the direction of the radiologist, the ideal candidate will be experienced in MRI services to our patients for diagnosis, closely follows physician's instructions, appropriately positions patients, prepares, and operates equipment, and accurately records the images requested. Requirements
- MRI Tech II Education Qualifications Associates degree in allied health, applied/radiologic science or certificate program is required.
- MRI Tech II Experience Qualifications 2 years of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) experience is required.
- One of the following is required: Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), with Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) credential.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (R.T.(MR)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Certification as a Registered Technologist by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- MRI Tech I Education Qualifications Associates degree in allied health, applied/radiologic science or certificate program is required.
- MRI Tech I Experience Qualifications 1 year of Radiology Technology experience preferred.
- One of the following is required: Certification or registry eligible as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) or a Registered Technologist in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (R.T.(MR)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Certification or registry eligible as a Registered Technologist by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
- Certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

- If certified through ARRT, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) certification/registry is preferred.
