About The Position

As an MRI Technologist at HSS, you will support the delivery of the highest quality of patient care in our state-of-the-art imaging facilities. Your primary focus will be to operate a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients of all age categories. This will entail MRI examinations using GE equipment, while ensuring the highest standards of safety for patients. You will also be responsible for properly storing and maintaining equipment, instructing patients on exams, and accurately logging and documenting related information.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited/approved radiologic program.
• Certification in MR (ARRT).
• NY State License required.
• NY State DOH IV injection license preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of MRI scanning experience required.
• Experience with GE and Siemens scanners preferred.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities
