About The Position

Overview: Schedule: Monday: Day/Evening shift availability Tuesday: Day shift availability Wednesday: Evening shift availability Friday: Day/Evening shift availability Approximately 20 hours a week Job Description Summary: Assists radiologic technologists in preparing patients for procedures, positioning patients, and operating imaging equipment. Job Description: Essential Functions: Prepares patients for radiologic procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly. Operates and maintains radiologic equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition. Assists radiologic technologists in performing diagnostic imaging procedures. Monitors patients during procedures to ensure their safety and comfort. Maintains patient records and ensures that all necessary information is accurately documented. Follows safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff. Additional Physical Requirements performed but not listed above: Must be able to move or reposition patients of any weight or size with the assistance of another person(s) and/or equipment. Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent, required.
  • CPR certification, required.
  • Ability to learn new procedures,follow instructions, and establish professional rapport with patients, staff, and physicians.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Current student ofan accredited Radiologic Technology Program, preferred.
  • Three quarters of experience as a student radiographer, preferred.
