Join our Radiology team as an MRI Technologist and play a key role in delivering high‑quality patient care through advanced imaging. You’ll work with state‑of‑the‑art MRI technology and collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to support accurate diagnosis and exceptional patient experiences.

Requirements

  • Education: Associate’s Degree preferred; graduate of an approved imaging program; required.
  • Licensure: ARRT certification required; MRI board certification preferred; Kentucky State Radiation Operators License; required.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); required.
  • Strong critical thinking and decisive judgment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working in fast‑paced or stressful environments.
  • Committed to accuracy, patient safety, and compassionate care.

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years of MRI experience; preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform high‑quality MRI examinations by following departmental protocols, professional standards, and safe operation of MRI equipment, including proper patient positioning and parameter selection.
  • Review patient histories and provider orders to ensure appropriate imaging, patient safety, and adherence to scope of practice.
  • Educate and prepare patients for MRI procedures, promoting comfort, cooperation, and understanding throughout the exam.
  • Administer contrast media or medications as ordered, monitor patient conditions during procedures, and respond promptly to any changes.
  • Evaluate image quality, make necessary adjustments or repeat scans, document findings accurately, and maintain an organized, clean work environment.
