About The Position

Our client is seeking a skilled MRI Technician to join their diagnostic imaging team. This full-time position plays a vital role in delivering quality imaging services and exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will be a motivated professional capable of working independently while ensuring patient safety, maintaining imaging equipment, and upholding the highest technical standards. Requirements

• Completion of an AMA-approved program in MRI
• Current CPR certification
• ARRT(MR) certification required within two years of hire
• Student training in MRI or diagnostic radiology is accepted as minimum experience
• Proficiency with MRI equipment and related systems (PACS, HIS, RIS)
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure clinical environment
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong commitment to safety and confidentiality
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Massachusetts Radiography License
• ARRT(RTR) certification

Responsibilities

• Perform a comprehensive range of MRI procedures using independent judgment and technical expertise
• Deliver safe and compassionate patient care in accordance with departmental and hospital protocols
• Operate and troubleshoot MRI equipment, including PACS, HIS, RIS, CR, and DR systems
• Maintain strict compliance with OSHA standards and hospital infection control practices
• Participate in continuing education activities and complete required competency validations
• May assume supervisory or mentoring responsibilities based on departmental needs
