How you’ll contribute The MRI Technician is responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures in accordance with established scope of practice, professional standards, and physician orders within an acute hospital setting. This role ensures patient safety and comfort through proper screening, education, positioning, and monitoring while producing high‑quality diagnostic images. The MRI Technician operates imaging equipment, administers contrast and medications as ordered and within scope, evaluates image quality, and collaborates with the radiology team to support accurate diagnosis and timely patient care in a fast‑paced environment.
