The general MRI technologist is a journey-level position or up to 2-year's experience working in either a clinic or acute care hospital facility. The general MRI technologist working in conjunction with a more experienced technologist is also under the supervision of the Lead MRI Technologist. A Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist is a radiologic technologist who possesses the CRT and ARRT certifications, and must obtain a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) certification issued by ARRT within 12 months of hire.
