This opportunity is part-time at 24 hours per week, offers part-time benefits and a convenient schedule. Wellington Regional Medical Center is located in Wellington, Florida. Requirements

  • Current State of Florida license.
  • Current ARRT registry in Radiology and MRI.
  • AHA Healthcare provider BLS.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
  • English verbal and written fluency.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver MRI testing to patients of all age groups under the direct supervision of the Radiologist and the Department Manager.
  • Utilize equipment and technique to assist in diagnosis or treatment.
  • Perform diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy and/or obtain specimens for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
  • Exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintain a demeanor complementary to medical ethics.
  • Apply appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
  • Provide coverage in Computed Tomography as needed.
  • Be available for 'on-call' duties and be prepared to arrive at the facility within thirty minutes of being notified.
  • Cross-train and float into other areas to meet the needs of the facility.
  • Assist in the cross-training and orientation of others into the department as requested.
  • Recognize the signs and symptoms of stroke and call a stroke alert overhead.
  • Maintain currency in stroke knowledge by completing the annual 1 hour online training.
