About The Position

The MRI Technologist performs MRI procedures efficiently and accurately. He/she also performs necessary quality control procedures specific to MRI. The MRI Technologist also accurately screens and provides patient care based upon evaluation of the patient. The MRI Technologist will also provide coverage in other areas of the Radiology Department as needed. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Radiology program.
• One (1) year of experience in MRI.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• A.R.R.T. registered (or eligible).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures efficiently and accurately.
• Conduct necessary quality control procedures specific to MRI.
• Screen and provide patient care based upon evaluation of the patient.
• Provide coverage in other areas of the Radiology Department as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
