About The Position
The MRI Tech performs CT and MRI imaging procedures and assists the Radiologist in special procedures such as biopsies. Responsibilities include maintaining records of examinations performed, obtaining and documenting patient clinical history, and performing darkroom, clerical, and transport functions. The MRI Tech participates in standby call and performs basic patient care within the scope of practice and departmental standards. Additionally, the role requires adherence to the Florida Hospital Corporate compliance plan, as well as the rules and regulations of all local, state, and Federal agencies, and the standards of all accrediting bodies.
