About The Position

The Lead MR Technologist will provide leadership and is responsible for the effective ongoing quality, productivity, and efficiency of the MR department. The Lead MR Technologist will assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating the MR equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans. The Lead MR Technologist will spend 95% of time in direct patient care. What We're Looking For Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree Preferred, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program, required. Experience: Minimum of two years MR experience, required. Licensure/Certification: Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR), required. Magnetic Resonance Safety Certified by ABMRS - MRSO (MRSC), preferred. IV Credentialed, required. Applicable state license, required. Additional Skills Required: Thorough knowledge of policies and procedures, equipment used in performing assigned duties, and information systems. Possesses abilities in team building, decision making, and conflict management. Able to perform and assist others with procedures and direct workflow. Exhibits leadership by providing compassionate, remarkable care, coupled with a positive attitude, patience, and the ability to work with others. Requirements
