About The Position

The position at Dayton Children's involves ensuring that safety is prioritized in all aspects of work and the work environment. The role includes direct supervision of all clinical staff in the Medical Imaging department, managing staff time cards and schedules, and approving PTO requests while maintaining critical staffing levels. This is a working supervisor position, where supervisors are expected to be productive members of staffing approximately 50% of the time. Flexibility in hours may be required to meet departmental needs. The supervisor will partner closely with department managers to support clinical operations and employee engagement, and will perform rounding on patients and families to gather feedback for improvement. The role also involves assisting managers with staff contribution management, coaching, and disciplinary actions, while modeling organizational values.

Requirements

• Associates degree in health sciences from an accredited program.
• 3+ years of experience as an imaging technologist.
• 1+ years of leadership experience in a relevant field preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• MRI Supervisor: ARRT registered in MRI.
• Ultrasound Supervisor: ARDMS - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• X-ray/CT Supervisor: ARRT Registered in Radiography and Computed Tomography.
