About The Position

Position Overview: The MRI Supervisor is responsible for the clinical and operational performance of the MRI department and ensures that clinical processes are coordinated and functioning effectively, while maintaining compliance with regulatory agencies and CMHS policies and procedures. This position provides input for the development of policies and procedures, training and best practices for use within the MRI department and assists in implementing standardization, performance improvement, integration and optimization strategies. The MRI Supervisor works closely with the Diagnostic Imaging department leadership team to ensure employee competencies, training and other departmental projects are completed in a timely manner and is responsible for maintaining operational efficiency, customer service and quality standards. The MRI Supervisor serves as the primary resource for MRI related information throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Five (5) years’ experience as an MRI Technologist
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Current registration through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(MR)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous MRI management/supervisory experience in a hospital setting
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
  • Bilingual in Spanish
