About The Position
About Corewell Health Trenton Hospital Corewell Health Hospital Trenton is a 193-bed acute care teaching hospital that sponsors nine university-affiliated residency programs. The hospital opened its doors to Trenton and its surrounding communities in 1961. It became part of Corewell Health in September 2014. In addition to providing comprehensive medical and surgical care for its patients, the hospital offers all private beds, a medical and surgical intensive care unit and obstetrical care. Scope Perform diagnostic imaging procedures. Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered MRI technologist, performs diagnostic imaging procedures. Assume responsibility and maintains the general care and safety of patients during imaging procedures. Selects and appropriate surface coils and associated equipment in preparation for registered MRI technologist to perform study. Positions patient and equipment to best demonstrate the anatomic area of interest, respecting patient ability and comfort
Requirements
- High school Diploma Required
- Must have completed the first year of an accredited imaging program
- BLS required from American Heart Association or Red Cross
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of relevant experience preferred
