The MRI Physicist will support both the clinical and research functions of Nemours Radiology in Orlando with collaboration with our Delaware Radiology department. In addition to pursuing independent research projects, the candidate will contribute to clinical services by optimizing MRI-based clinical and research imaging protocols, develop an ongoing process for quality assurance, ensure regulatory compliance and ACR accreditation, assist in design and execution of MRI data collection and analysis, conduct equipment acceptance testing, evaluate new technologies and upgrades, and provide MR physics education for students, residents and fellows. The MRI physicist will also be expected to participate in the writing and preparation of grant applications for external funding for research.
